Sewing 3: Build Your Sewing Skills Ready to take your sewing skills beyond the basics? Sewing 2 builds on the fundamentals you learned in Sewing 1 and introduces the techniques you’ll use again and again in your sewing projects. This hands-on class is all about gaining confidence, improving your accuracy, and learning how to handle the details that make sewing easier—and more enjoyable. In this class, you’ll learn: 🧵 Seam Allowances & Accurate Sewing Learn how to consistently sew accurate seam allowances and understand why they matter. ✂️ Curves, Corners & Angles Practice sewing smooth curves, sharp corners, and clean turns without puckering or distortion. 🪡 Hems & Finishing Learn basic hemming techniques and how to create clean, professional-looking edges. ✨ Gathering & Easing Learn how to create and control gathers and ease fabric into curved or shaped pieces. 🔍 Zippers & Closures Get introduced to basic zipper techniques and common garment closures. 🧷 Pinning, Clipping & Pressing Learn how to prepare your fabric before sewing and use pressing techniques to improve your finished results. 🔧 Troubleshooting Learn how to recognize and correct common sewing problems so you don't have to stop every time something goes wrong. By the end of Sewing 3, you’ll have a stronger foundation of sewing techniques and the confidence to take on more projects—and start working toward making your own clothes. Prerequisite: Sewing 1 or basic sewing machine experience. -It is preferred you bring your own sewing machine, so you feel confident using it at home. There are sewing machines available at the shop if you do not own one Come ready to practice, experiment, and build your sewing confidence—one stitch at a time.

Class Booking & Rescheduling Policy We’re excited to sew with you! Please review our class policy before booking. Booking: Class registration must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled class start time. This allows us time to prepare materials, equipment, and your space. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Need to change your plans? No problem! You may cancel or reschedule your class up to 24 hours before the scheduled class start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before class, including same-day requests and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer to another class. Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time so you can get the most out of your sewing experience. Classes will begin as scheduled, and late arrivals may not be able to make up missed instruction or class time. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our classes running smoothly.
