Service Description
Now it’s time to put it all together! In Sewing 5, you’ll take your prepared pattern and fabric and begin turning those individual pieces into a wearable garment. We’ll walk through the construction process and learn how to follow sewing instructions with confidence. In this class, you’ll learn: How to organize your cut garment pieces How to understand the order of garment construction How to match notches and seams How to pin and prepare pieces for sewing How to sew common garment seams How to understand and follow construction instructions How to troubleshoot common sewing mistakes How to press as you sew for a professional finish How to approach your garment one step at a time This class is about building the confidence to say: “I made this.” You’ll leave with practical garment-construction skills and the foundation you need to continue making your own clothes at home. Prerequisite: Sewing 103 & 104 or equivalent pattern-reading and cutting experience.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before class, including same-day requests and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer to another class. Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time so you can get the most out of your sewing experience.
